William L Jeffers

William Louis Jeffers was born June 28, 1933, in Bagwell to Raymond and Lota White Jeffers.  Bill passed away Friday, August 18, 2023, in Garland. He married Eva Abbott on July 4, 1952, in Farmington, New Mexico.  Preceded in death by his parents, wife Eva, and sister Shirley Nailling LaRue.  He enjoyed his family, fishing, bowling, and farming. 

Survivors include his children, Regina Grilley and husband Richard of Longview; Ray Jeffers and wife Tometta of Lubbock; DeLisa Speed and husband Lynn of Mesquite; and Lori Jones and husband Alan of Rowlett.  Grandchildren Richard Grilley, Michael Jeffers, Heather Laureano, Lindsey Speed, Spencer Speed, Gabriel Jones, Auburn Harris, Christopher Jones, Briana Castillo and 19 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Richard Grilley, Michael Jeffers, Spencer Speed and Christopher Jones. 

Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00am, Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Tuggle Springs Cemetery with Gabriel Jones officiating.  Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
