Wayne Johnson Obituary

Cecil Wayne Johnson, age 57, of Annona, went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, November 16, 2021.

Wayne was born December 31, 1963, in Clarksville to Lem Johnson and Billie Clark. Wayne enjoyed going to garage sales and scrap yards. He was known for his “treasures” he would collect and was always looking for new ones. One of his favorite things to do was ridding his four wheeler. Wayne was also quite the prankster. His sharp wit and cunning abilities made for good times and laughs. Wayne was an excellent cook, known for several dishes especially his spaghetti salad. Wayne had a big heart and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed. Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Elvin and Goldie Clark and Cecil and Flossie Johnson; his father, Lem Johnson; his aunt & uncle, Pauline Clark and Kim Clark; his nephew, “Shrimp” Bailon and his cousins, Randle and Christy Clark.

The family will receive friends one hour before service time at Clarksville Funeral Home.

Funeral Services are set for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 20, 2021, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Deanie Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in Lanes Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
