Vernon Cole

Vernon Cole, age 82, of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023, at his residence.

Vernon was born March 22, 1940, in Haskell, Oklahoma to Roy and Birtie Casey Cole.  He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pearl Cole; his son, Tommy Cole; his daughter, Debbie Cole; 3 brothers, Lawrence, Royal and Therman and 2 sisters, Ruby and Dovie.

Graveside services are set for 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Leesville Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Ellis officiating.  Burial is under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include his sons, Vernon Cole, Jr. and Robert Cole both of the Albion Community; 4 sisters, Shirley Yount of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, Patsy Thomason of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Pauline Hall of Muskogee, Oklahoma and Linda Hall of Muskogee, Oklahoma; 2 brothers, Rayburn Cole and wife, Betty of Blanchard, Oklahoma and Houston Cole and wife, Charline of Ashdown, Arkansas and numerous grandchildren, cousins and friends.
