Terry Jan Smith

Terry Jan Smith, age 67, of Clarksville, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023, at Paris Regional Medical Center.

Terry was born August 30, 1955, in Clarksville, to Morris Jack Barnett and Bess Brooks.  Terry was a loving wife and mother.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and loved her family and friends.  She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Aikin Grove Missionary Baptist Church.  Preceding her in death are her father; her husband, Tommy Smith; her brother, Wayne Barnett and her sister, Kristi Canant.

The family will receive friends Monday, March 13, 2023, at Clarksville Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral Services are set for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2023, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Ryan Youngblood officiating.  Burial will follow in Whiteman’s Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include her mother, Bess Farland and husband, Lyle of Clarksville; her son, Philip Smith and wife, Kimberly of Clarksville; her twin sister, Jerry Rust and husband, Gerald of Avery; her brother, David "Barney" Barnett and wife, Debbie of Clarksville; her grandchildren, Aaron Smith and Ben Smith of Clarksville and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers are: Chad Roseberry, Wesley Roseberry, Kelly Roseberry, Paul Allen, Ruben Putteet, Jason Huddleston, Sr., Jeff Moore and Billy Bob Hughey.  Honorary Pallbearers are members of Friendship Lodge # 16 AF&AM.
