Ted Dennis Ewing

Ted Dennis Ewing II was born on March 6th, 1969, in Texarkana, Texas to Ted and Elaine Ewing. He passed away at his home on April 23, 2023.

Dennis was a hard worker. He worked over twenty-seven years in the oilfield. He devoted his whole life to his ranch and took great pride in his land. He was the life of the party, and when he wasn’t being that he loved being on his dozer.

He married Deanna Carnes Ewing on August 7th, 1998. They were married for 24 and a half years.

Dennis is survived by his parents, Ted and Linda Ewing of Cuthand. His wife, Deanna Ewing of Cuthand. Three children, Elizabeth Ewing of Paris, Jeffery Brooks of Paris, and Ellie Ewing of Cuthand. He also had three grandchildren, Preston Brooks of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Aurorah (AJ) Brooks of Paris, and Jefferson (JD) Brooks of Paris.

He is preceded in death by his mother Elaine Ewing, and his son Doyle Brooks. His grandparents Jeff and Gertrude Ewing and Mr. and Mrs. Dured Hall. His aunts Donna Jones and Brenda Jordan and an uncle, Steve Hall.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 7, 2021, at Cuthand Church with Rev. John Purviance officiating.  Services are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
