Ted Dennis Ewing

Ted Dennis Ewing, age 79, of Cuthand, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at his residence.

Ted was born July 20, 1945, in Yazoo City, Mississippi to Jeff and Gertrude Ewing.  Ted was an outdoorsman, he enjoyed nature, animals, hunting, ranching, checking on the oil lease, and the oil field.  He married the love of his life, Linda on July 3, 1974.   Preceding him in death are his parents, his son, Dennis Ewing, and his grandchild, Doyle Brooks.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Linda Walker Ewing; daughter-in-law, Deanna Ewing; his sister, Wanda Kay Haggard and husband, A.O.; 3 grandchildren, Elizabeth Ewing, Jeffery Brooks, and Ellie Ewing; 3 great grandchildren, Preston Brooks, Aurorah Brooks, and Jefferson Brooks; special friends, Matt Belcher, Michah Landers, Heather Williams and Kase Landers, and his beloved dog, Sophie.

The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to service time at Cuthand Cemetery.

Graveside services are set for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Cuthand Cemetery with Rev. John Purviance officiating.  Burial is under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers are: Robert Kennedy, Shane Murray, Bobby Davis, Hunter Williams, Jason Neal and Matt Belcher.
