Tammie Smith Raulston

Tammie Michelle Smith Raulston born December 3, 1968, to Jimmy Don and Guindal (Guin) Smith. She went to Heaven suddenly on February 6, 2023. She graduated from Rivercrest High School in 1987, where she was an outgoing student and a member of the flag corp. She followed in the footsteps of her mother when she graduated from Northeast Texas Community College and became an outstanding LVN, leaving a lasting impression of compassion to all of her patients and families. She lived a long fulfilling life of many experiences and led a Christian life.

She married Michael Raulston and they had a son, Weston, in 2005. Weston was the greatest joy her life would bring her. Although she divorced, she taught Weston to be everything a parent would want a son to be. She taught him to be a gentleman, how to be a man and to be accomplished in Christ, intelligence and even cooking.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy, grandparents Frank and Margaret Smith, grandparents Noman and Annell Wood Williams and Irvin Williams; and Uncle David Larry Jones, Aunt Sue Wood.

She is survived by her son Weston, mother Guin, sister Candace, Aunt Brenda Jones, Uncle Royce Wood, five 1st cousins Charles and Gary Jones, Colette Hemitoller, Richard Wood and Amanda Wood and great aunt Nella West. Many 2nd and 3rd cousins and their families.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Clarksville Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be at Lone Star Methodist Church on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 2 p.m. with Don Shovan officiating.  Burial will follow in Lone Star Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

 Pallbearers will be Heath Harvey, Charles Don Lewis, Don Shovan, Charles Jones, Gary Jones, and Ricky Moore.
