Sue Stanley

Glenda Sue Stanley, age 74, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 at Medical City Hospital in Dallas, Tx. Sue was born August 29, 1947, in Clarksville to Buck and Louise Stringer. She was a 1964 graduate of Dimple High School and a retired postal carrier. She married Buddy Stanley on May 29, 1964. Sue was an amazing grandma, sister, wife, and mother. She was loved by all and will be missed by many. Sue was a one of a kind and we have been very blessed to call her ours. She was a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Carolyn Carson; brothers, Larry Stringer and Tony Stringer; husband, Buddy Stanley and son, Ronnie Stanley.

Funeral services are set for 10:30 am, Saturday, December 4, 2021, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Brother Paul Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in Jamison Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Dustin Stringer, Tyler Jeffery, Luke Martin, Matthew Stanley, Kyle Stanley and Ryan Stanley.

The family will receive friends Friday night from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include: Gary Stanley and wife Dana of Powderly; grandchildren: Matthew Stanley, Shelby Stanley, Kyle Stanley, Ryan Stanley, Caitlin Stanley and Braylyn Gray; siblings, Mark Stringer and wife, Janet of Clarksville, Terry Stringer and wife, June of Bagwell, Rhonda McEntire and husband, David of Clarksville and Tonya Martin and husband, James of Clarksville; brother-in-law, James Carson of Clarksville; sisters-in-law, Rose and Tammie Stringer both of Clarksville, daugther-in-law, Amanda Stanley and a host of nieces and nephews.
