Scott Dawson

Scott Dawson, age 54, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Paris Regional Hospital.

Scott was born April 3, 1970, to Byron and Hazel Dawson.  Scott enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching football and being in the outdoors.  He was of the Baptist faith and loved his family. His mother preceded him in death.

The family will receive friends one hour before service time at Clarksville Funeral Home.

Funeral Services are set for 1:30 PM, Thursday, December 19, 2024, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Brandon Teague officiating.  Burial will follow in Whietman's Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers are: Kevin Wright, Mikel Tharp, Donnie Smith, Robert Seiber, Richard Merkwa and Donnie McPherson.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Maria Devinney Dawson of Clarksville; his father, Byron Dawson; 2 sons, Taylor Dawson and wife, Robbie of California  and Kole Dawson of Clarksville; his daughter, Melissa Dawson of Clarksville and his brother, Steven Dawson of Clarksville.
