Sammy Garrison

Sammy Garrison, age 62, of Garland, formerly of Clarksville, passed away, Tuesday, May 16, 2023, in Plano. Sammy was born, January 31, 1961, in Clarksville to Clarence and Patsy Conine Garrison. He was a 1979 graduate of Clarksville High School. Sammy was a true Dallas American Sports Fan. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, Mavericks, Texas Rangers and the Dallas Stars. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed the drag races and spending time with his family and grandkids. Back in the day, if his favorite song Neon Moon was playing he was going to swing someone around the dance floor.

He is survived by his parents, Clarence and Patsy of Clarksville; his son, Clark Garrison and wife, Chelsea of Clarksville; his daughter, Ali Coston of Reno; the mother of his son, Zuby Boulware; his grandchildren, Terreallyn Surber, Mason Boulware, Braelyn Garrison and Lexa Garrison; his brother, Ted Garrison of Clarksville; his sister, Cindy Rhoten and husband, Barry of Bells and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a family and friends visitation from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2023, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home. Following visitation, the family will be having a Celebration of Sammy's Life held at the Clarksville Country Club, 690 Private Road 7010, Clarksville, Tx 75426.

Honorary Pallbearers are Paul Sparkman, Joe Jenkins, Jake Jenkins, Curtis Vaughn, Rick Wilson, Bubba Calloway, Cotton Booth, Chris Harvey, Boyd Harvey and Gary Davidson.
