Ruthie Mae McIntire

Ruthie Mae McIntire, age 93, of Bagwell, went to be with our Lord and Saviour, Tuesday December 28, 2021. She was born on October 28, 1928 in Clarksville, to Jack B. and Lucy Ann Foshee Townes. Ruth loved her Heavenly Father and spread his word until the day she joined Him in Heaven. She was a member of Bagwell Baptist Church.  Ruth was a wonderful cook and loved playing Skip Bo with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, John Townes, Billy Jack Townes and Marshall Glenn Townes; her sisters, Marie Massey, Ruby Townes and Macklee Townes; and her infant grandson, Steven McIntire.

Survivors include her loving son, Danny McIntire and wife Dianne; her brother, Larry Townes; her grandchildren, Bryan McIntire, Anita McIntire, Kaylee Faulkner and husband Dakota; her great-grandchildren, Ethan McIntire, Cadence McIntire, Tristan Bartley, Kenzye Bartley, Rachyl Bartley, Sierra Faulkner and Lukas Faulkner.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm in Blanton Creek Cemetery in Bagwell, on Friday, December 31, 2021, with Rev. Karl Bush and Rev. Don Shovan officiating. Services are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Visitation is 30 minutes before service time at the cemetery.

Pallbearers are Bryan McIntire, Tristan Bartley, Dakota Faulkner, Walker Townes, Connor Bridges and Tony Barletti.

Honorary Pallbearers are Hal Wood, C.W. Pittman, Ken Miller and Chris Dickens.

We would like to express our gratitude to her friend and caregiver, Yvonne Gable. We would also like to thank Leia, Krystal and Kelly with Elara Hospice.
