Roger Lynn Huckabay, age, 70, of Clarksville, passed away, Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Heritage House in Paris. Roger was born, September 10, 1955, in Red River County to Lloyd and Lucy Helen Roberts Huckabay. He was an avid outdoorsman and a great cook. Roger was well known for his homemade spice rub for smoked meats. He loved his family dearly and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Roger was an Avery High School graduate and retired from Phillip's Industries in Clarksville.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Gossett officiating. Burial will follow in New Haven Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Visitation will be an hour before service time at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Robertson Huckabay, son, Michael Huckabay of Sulphur Springs, daughters, Tracy Morgan and husband, Ryan and Cassandra Villarreal both of Sulphur Springs, stepson, Chad Helberg and wife, Mandy of Paris, stepdaughter, Dana Williams of Lewisville, sister, Suzy Johnson, grandchildren, Charity, Brian, Dylan, Ashton, Daiton, Brandon, Kimberly, Erin, Jacob, Danika and Hayden, step grandchildren, Drew and Chandi and eleven great grandchildren.
