Ricky Boyd Burnett

Ricky Burnett, age 68, of the Hopewell Community, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Christus St. Michael Hospital.

Ricky was born in Friona, Texas, on March 9, 1957, to Owen and Peggy Burnett. He was a lifelong carpenter, an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, he enjoyed listening to classic rock music in his shop, and hosting large fish fry's for his family and friends.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Owen and Peggy Burnett, his brother, Randy Burnett, and a niece, Tanya Burnett.

He is survived by his siblings, Shorty Burnett and wife, Leona of the Hopewell Community, Cindy Watson and husband, Nick of Detroit, three nieces Kacey Richardson and husband, Caleb of Wichita Falls, Jerica Burnett of Valliant OK, and Malisa Burnett of Valliant OK, as well as a host of nieces, and great-nephews.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Caleb Richardson will officiating.

Honorary pallbearers are listed as Danny Daniels, Darrine Williams, Kaston Wilson, and Chance Shomo.
