Reba Mitchell

Reba Mitchell, age 84, of Bogata, passed away, Friday, January 26, 2024, at Focused Care of Clarksville.  Mrs. Mitchell was born, August 14,1939, in Cunningham to Jim and Ollie Ruth Burns Robinson.  She was a graduate of Bogata High School and a member of the First Baptist Church of Bogata.  Mrs. Mitchell loved her family and enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, and her special grand-dog Sophie.  She worked for many years at both Buddy’s Men’s Wear and the Hub and was also a realtor.  Her husband, Marion Mitchell and a brother, Burl Robinson preceded her in death. 

Survivors include her son, Mark Mitchell and wife, Debbie of Bogata; grandson, Tim Peeples and wife, Dana of Saltillo; four great grandchildren, Brittney, Landon, Cody and Heston Peeples; a special nephew Aaron Robinson and wife, Dee and a special great nephew, Jace Robinson. 

Funeral services are set for 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 29, 2024, at the First Baptist Church of Bogata with Rev. Jeff Duvall officiating.  Burial will follow in Bogata Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Aaron Robinson, Tim Peeples, Cody Peeples, Heston Peeples, Landon Peeples and Jace Robinson.

Honorary Pallbearers are Michael Witmer, Brian Bell, Johnny Ragsdill and Randy Randolph. 

The family will receive friends Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Clarksville Funeral Home.
