Patsy F. Jones

Patsy Vernell Flanagan Jones, age 78, of Clarksville, passed away, Thursday, September 9, 2021, at her residence. Patsy was born, October 5, 1942, in Clarksville to H.C. and Bonnie Whitley Flanagan. She was a 1960 graduate of Clarksville High School and a faithful member of McKenzie Memorial United Methodist Church. Patsy was very active in the Clarksville Food Pantry, a great cook and was a very generous and sweet person. She was the former owner of Jones Florist in Clarksville. Patsy was an avid Crappie Fisherman and could tell you exactly where the crappie were biting at all the area lakes. Her husband, Derrell Jones preceded her in death.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 13, 2021, at Lanes Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Mike Rowe officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the cemetery.

Pallbearers are Doug Smith, Shawn Napier, Brent Napier, Dean Wren, Justin Bishop and Braden Augustus.

Honorary Pallbearers are Britt Holley and Harry Moore.

Survivors include her son, Derek Jones and wife, Sherry of Clarksville; her sister, Regenia Napier and husband, Larry of Clarksville; 2 grandchildren, Lacy Chandler and Ashley Rice; 5 nephews, Shawn Napier and wife, Leigh of Paris, Brent Napier and wife, Lori of Paris, John Gray and wife Nikki of English, Micah McLeod and wife Katie of Clarksville and Kevin Gray and wife Kristi of Mt. Pleasant, 3 nieces; Lori Puckett and husband Trey of Annona,  Monica Raulston and husband Steve of Dimple and Melissa Booth of Bagwell,  brother in law; Teddy Jones of Clarksville and several great nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Clarksville Food Pantry at 946 FR. 1159, Clarksville, Tx. 75426.
