Patricia Yeatman, age 73, of Bogata, passed away, Monday, September 11, 2023, at Focused Care Nursing Center. Mrs. Yeatman was born in Clarksville on July 30, 1950, the daughter of Alford Lane and Zela Duffee Putteet. She attended Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas. Patricia worked in the cafeterias for Garland and Rivercrest School Districts as well as Huddlestons Grocery Store in Bogata. She married James Olyn (Boe)Yeatman on February 17, 1968. Her husband; son Paul Yeatman; sisters, Rita Johnson, Glenda Putteet; brother, Rickey Putteet; a bonus granddaughter, Kim Exum and a brother-in-law, Donny Yancey all preceded her in death. She loved reminiscing about growing up in Dallas and old times with friends and family. She was an avid 42 and Skip Bo player. Patricia looked forward to spending time at the Bogata Senior Citizen Center visiting with friends, eating and winning prizes playing Bingo. During her time at Focused Care, she enjoyed special activities, making crafts, playing Bingo and visiting with old and new friends. Patricia loved family gatherings where she would cook and bake for all to enjoy. She was a very caring person and if you knew Patricia, you new she enjoyed talking on the phone.
Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Cuthand Church with Rev. John Purviance officiating. Burial will follow in Cuthand Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Visitation will be an hour before service time at the church.
Pallbearers are Todd Clark, Michael Clark, Brad Putteet, Walt Putteet, Scott Yancey and Justin Exum.
Honorary Pallbearers are Eddie Wayne Belcher, Glenn Bryan, Danny Johnson, Derrell Stewart.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Sherry Yeatman of Cuthand; grandson, Kevin Yeatman and wife, Honey of Blossom; bonus grandson, Justin Exum of Blossom, great grandchildren, Reed, Drake, Dilin, Lynnlee, Easton, Kaeston and Hollan; brother, Connie Mack Putteet and wife, Tammy of Avery; sisters, Brenda Yancey of Texarkana, Regina Stewart and husband, Derrell of Bogata and Vickey Morse and husband, Steve of Texarkana; a special niece that she thought of as a daughter, Kim Stewart and several nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
The family would like to thank the Special Staff of Focused Care of Clarksville and Chambers Hospice.
