Patsy Jane Rogers Twiford passed away peacefully on May 25, 2022 at Heart to Heart Hospice in Fort Worth. Pat was born June 21, 1947, in Clarksville to Ralph L. and Effie O. Rogers. Pat graduated from Bryan Adams High School in 1969. She worked as a legal secretary until her marriage to Jim Morris, the father of her only child, Kelly Lynn Morris Pyle. Pat loved to travel. She lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Atherton, California with her husband Bob Twiford who preceded her in death. She was known for her sense of humor and her extraordinary ability to work the New York Times Crossword. Pat had so many friends that adored her, even her daughter’s friends loved her as a second Mom. Pat lived in Clarksville where she served as the Event Coordinator for the Clarksville Chamber of Commerce. She was honored by the Chamber by being named Citizen of the Year. Pat also did volunteer work for The Philadelphia Zoo, Dallas Art Museum and The Arts and Film Festival in Dallas. Pat is survived by her daughter, Kelly Pyle, and her husband Nick, five grandchildren, CJ, Kristy, Nate, Heath, and Seth; siblings Brenda Crawford, Debbie Cassity and her husband Larry, Mike Rogers and his wife Colleen and many beloved nieces and nephews. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Betty Sue and brothers, John, Ralph Wayne, and Jack Rogers.
Graveside Services are scheduled for 1:30 PM Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Red Oak Cemetery near Blossom, Texas. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Clarksville Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Trey Crawford, Guy Crawford, Nate Pyle, Heath Pyle, C.J. Christensen and Seth Pyle.
