Pat McCoy Obituary

Pat B. McCoy, age, 92, of Clarksville, passed away, Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Paris Regional Medical Center. She was born, Feburary 17, 1930, in Dalhart to Charles and Lexie Roberts Bradley. After her father died her mother remarried Harvey R. Parkey who was the best step dad in the world. Pat attended Dalhart schools and graduated at age 16 when she enrolled at North Texas University. Her parents; her brother, Jack C. Bradley; and two nephews, Johnny and Aaron Bradley preceded her in death.

Pat was well known in the business world in Clarksville. She worked for many years at Wooley Motor Company, The Clarksville Times and J.P. Harvey Motors. Pat was active in the Clarksville High School Band Boosters Club and volunteered for many years at the Clarksville Food Pantry. She loved to cook anything and sew, especially Halloween costumes and repairing ripped jeans. She was generous beyond measure and would give away anything she had if she thought someone else could use it! Pat loved to travel especially road-trips accompanied by grandkids or great grandkids. She took three trips to Alaska where she loved not only the scenery but Native Americian Villiages and all the wildlife. Pat also enjoyed visiting National Parks especially Yellowstone, the Great Smokey Mountains and the Grand Canyon. She was a big baseball fan and especially liked Adrian Beltrea of the Texas Rangers. Pat once received a birthday card from one of her great grandkids addressed to:
