Pansy Lee Garrett Hines, age 87, of Clarksville, went to be with our Lord and Saviour Wednesday January 11, 2023. She was born on November 24, 1935, in Red River County to Roy and Bessie Garrett. Pansy married the love of her life, Bobby Hines, on October 29, 1954, with her Papa, Elder Jesse Watson, officiating. Pansy was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Clarksville. She was a very faithful woman who loved God and her family with all her heart. She enjoyed camping, gardening, cooking, playing board games and spoiling her grandchildren.
Pansy was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Joy Monkhouse and Karen Yonnes; her great-granddaughter, Madeleine Jones.
Survivors include her loving husband of 68 years, Bobby Hines; her children, Debbie Hines, Dianne McIntire and husband, Danny, David Hines and wife, Teresa, Dale Hines and wife, Camille, Danny Hines and wife, Jessica; her grandchildren, Kristin Rowden and husband, Eric, Matt Keller, Casey Keller and wife, Shelly, Bryan McIntire, Anita McIntire, Kaylee Faulkner and husband, Dakota, Rachyl Bartley, Ashley S. Hines, Aric Hines and wife, Krystal, Ashley N. Hines, Marli Conway and husband, Gus; her great-grandchildren, Alex, Liam, Luke, Keylie, Hayden, Sydney, Tyce, David, Blake, Abel, Tucker, Ethan, Cadence, Tristan, Makenzye, Sierra, Lukas, Harper, Evan, Oliver, Asher, Kashtyn, and Montanna; her sister, JoAnne Beattie.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Lanes Chapel Cemetery in Clarksville, with Rev. Mike Black officiating. Services are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Larry Napier, Rocky Brown, Steve Cecil, Sammy Puckett, Rusty Ross, and Lalo Meza. Honorary Pallbearers are the men of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
