Pam Varley Smothermon, age 74, of Clarksville, passed away, Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Focused Care of Clarksville. Pam was born August 5, 1949, in Clarksville to Clarence and Vivian Cornett Varley. She was a member of the Aikin Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Her parents; father and mother- in-law, Bill and Barbara Smothermon and a great niece, Evie Carter preceded her in death.
Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 29, 2024, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Ryan Youngblood and Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Clarksville Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Blake Augustus, Braden Augustus, Baylor Augustus and Jeff Augustus. Honorary pallbearers are Clay Carter, Justin Carter and Michael Witmer.
Survivors include her husband, Teddy Smothermon of Clarksville; daughters, Melissa Augustus and husband, Jeff of Bogata and Rona Smothermon of Clarksville; sisters, Joan Varley Carter and husband, Jack of Texarkana and Tammy Smothermon Hill and husband, Richard of Longview; grandchildren, Blake Augustus, Braden Augustus and wife, Brooklyn and Baylor Augustus; and great grandchildren, Konlee and Krew Augustus.
