Ophelia Ragan

Ophelia Ragan, age 86, of Detroit passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026, at her residence.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Ophelia was born in Clarksville, Texas the daughter of Florence Furra McLaughlin. Preceding her in death are her mother; her husband, Roy Lee Ragan and her son, Curtis Lee Ragan. Ophelia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, She will be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her son, Randall Ragan of Detroit; daughter-in-law, Kim Afdahl of Detroit; her sister, Barbara Carroll of Payne Springs; her brother, JL Furra of Midway; 4 grandchildren, Calvin Lee Ragan and wife, Amber of Detroit, Craig Lee Ragan and wife, Geannie of Detroit, Meredith Walker and husband, Bret of Austin and Kyle Lee Ragan and wife, Ariel of Austin; 11  great grandchildren, Barrett Walker, Augie Walker, Van Walker, Julie Walker, Kelcey Nicloe Ragan, Nicholas Howell, Kristen Howell, Katlyn Howell, Tali Baldwin and husband Johnny, Jason Story and Michael Ledbetter; 2 great-great grandchildren, Shepard Baldwin and Alaska Baldwin; her nephew, Steve Furra; her great niece, Stevie Lynn Qualls and husband Matt and daughter Harper Qualls and special cousins, Michael Topliff and wife, Kay.
