Mildred Lester

Mildred Irene Lester, age 78, of Clarksville, passed away, Sunday, April 17, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. Lester was born, June 21, 1943, in Avery to Zeke and Mable Idalee Compton Barger. Her parents; husband, Jerry Lester; sister, Helen Contreras; brothers, Buster and Joe Wayne Barger; a son, Justin Lester; and a great grandchild all preceded her in death.

A Memorial Service is planned for 10:00 AM, on Thursday, April 21, 2022, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Gossett officiating. Burial will be in Aikin Grove Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include her daughters, Lorri Oglesby and husband, Donnie of New Boston and Janette Braden of Clarksville; sister, Ruby Jackson of Avery; brother, Don Johnson and wife, Ruth of Springfield, Missouri; grandchildren, Jennifer Crawford, Jeremy Crawford, Kristy Gerrald, Marann Crawford, Phillip Crawford, Wesley Baird, Staci Baird and David Dunbar; great grandchildren, Caleb Crawford, Jarrett Crawford, Logan McEneaney, Jensen McEneaney, Cali Mahmoud, Emmi Kate Ogburn, Hagan Baird, Les Ramsey and Avey Ramsey; and 1 great great grandchild, Hailey Crawford.
