Mary Loreda Rodden, age 86, of Clarksville, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021, at Focused care of Clarksville.
Mary was born July 23, 1934, in Clarksville to George and Lula Pearl Hawkins Green. Mary was a member of the VFW of Clarksville. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, cooking and canning. Mary loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her great-great grandchild. She was a wonderful mother, Nanny, and loving wife and will be greatly missed. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, John Rodden; 2 daughters, Sharrion Smith and Sherrie Myers; 2 sisters, Inez McGregor and Louise Stringer and 2 brothers, Marion and Milton Green.
The family will receive friends one hour before service time at Clarksville Funeral Home.
Funeral services are set for 2:00p.m. Sunday, April 25, 2021, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Rowe officiating. Burial will follow in Garland Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are: Chris Leeds, Joe Byford, Caleb Jordan, Shawnee Duckworth Cain Smith and Sam Myers.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Leeds and husband, Terry of Avery; son-in-law, Sam Myers of Tennessee Colony, Tx; 4 grandchildren, Christopher Leeds of Avery, Michelle Jackson Freeman of Anna, Nicole Myers Duckworth and spouse, Shawnee of Clarksville and Shannon Myers of Tennessee Colony, Tx; 7 great grandchildren, Caleb, Courtney, MaKenzie, Gauge, Cain, Noah and Brayden; 1 great-great grandchild, Carsyn; her beloved dog, Pinkie and numerous nieces and nephews.
