Mary Frances Lee

Mary Frances Lee, age 91, of Bogata, passed away, Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Focused Care in Clarksville.  Mrs. Lee was born, September 22, 1932, in Bogata to Harley and Evie Griffin Gibbs.  She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Bogata and loved her church family dearly.  She married Earl Joe Lee on July 20, 1950, in Cleburne.  Quilting and painting were her favorite pastimes. Her husband; two sons, Joe L. Lee and Barry Lee; brother, James Ell Gibbs; and a son-in-law, Charles Fast preceded her in death. 

The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the Bogata First Baptist Church.  

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, August 12, 2024, at Smith Cemetery in Rosalie with Rev. Jeff Duvall officiating.  Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Dustin Baer, Joshua Fast, Aaron Lee, Trenton Lee, Coy Larey, Josh Minett and Cody Poole Alex Lee.

Honorary Pallbearers are Gene Fields, Jay Hancock and the Men from the Bogata First Baptist Church. 

Survivors include two sons, Adam Lee and wife, Melanie of Powderly and Victor Lee of Bogata; two daughters, Gay Fields and husband, Gene of Rosalie and Jenae Fast of Bogata; daughter-in-law, Jane Lee of Rockwall; grandchildren, Melissa McGuire, Dustin Baer, Joshua Fast, Megan Lee, Aaron Lee, Crissa Minett, Trenton Lee and Alex Lee, Monique Jarrett, Misty Allen, Jeff Fields, Austin White, Jacy Morrison, Cody Poole and numerous great grandchildren.
