Marlon Taylor (Marty) Sustaire II age 58, of Paris, passed away, Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Marty was born September 26, 1964, in Tyler to Marlon Taylor and Jill McKinney Sustaire. He attended the Blossom Church of Christ and served in the U.S. Marines. His parents; and a nephew, Brice Sustaire preceded him in death. Marty was employed with Clark Transportation in Texarkana for many years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, dancing and spending time with his family. Marty loved history and was an active participant in Civil War Re-enactments.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Beverly Phillips Sustaire; one son, Lt.Col. Aaron Boudreau and wife, Melissa of Bossier City, Louisiana; three grandchildren, Nolan, Logan and Cora Boudreau; brothers, Kevin Sustaire and wife Shelly of Lindale, Michael Sustaire and wife, Allison of Springtown, Chris Sustaire of Palm Springs, California and Bruce Sustaire of Gilmer; sister, Amanda Sustaire of Gilmer and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are set for 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Lone Star Cemetery with Evan Butler officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Eddie Phillips, Jack Baxter Phillips, Benjamin Phillips, Aaron Boudreau, Kevin Sustaire and Michael Sustaire.
The Clark Transportation family will be Honorary Pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 noon until 12:30 P.M., at Clarksville Funeral Home.
