Marion Hope Hastings

Marion Hastings, age 77, of Detroit, went home to be with the Lord on August 10, 2024.

Marion was born May 20, 1947, in Ypsilanti, Michigan to Cecil Pellett and Virginia Johnson.  She met the love of her life, Ray Hastings in Bagwell and they were married on May 5, 1967.  Marion loved the Lord and her family more than anything.  She enjoyed attending church services, working in her flower garden, watching the hummingbirds and spending time with her family.  Preceding her in death are her parents, Cecil Pellett and Virginia Johnson Glass; 2 sisters, Beverly Moreland and Bonnie Crawford and her brother, Jimmy Pellett.

Survivors include her husband, Ray Hastings; her daughter, Tammy Miller and husband Paul of Bagwell, her son, Clint Hastings and wife Tara of Detroit; her sister Edith Brooks; 3 grandchildren Kasey Wolf and wife, Cady, Lainey Wolf, Katlyn Peek and husband Arron and 5 great grandchildren, Coy Wolf, Kora Wolf, Grainger Justice, Alton Peek and Josie Peek.

Graveside services are set for 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Blanton Creek Cemetery with Rev. Don Shovan officiating.  Burial is under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
