Margie Nell Woods

Margie Nell Woods, age 83, of Clarksville, passed away October 2, 2022, at Texoma Medical Center.

Margie was born September 19, 1939, in Ruston, Louisiana to Steadman and Ida Tallwaters Gartman. Margie was a very talented woman. She enjoyed painting, arts and crafts and was well known for the clay dolls she made by hand. Margie enjoyed spending time outside watching all of God’s animals, especially hummingbirds. She was a member of The Church Of Latter-Day Saints and was a loving mother to her family. Her parents and daughter, Robin Pickering preceded her in death.

Graveside services are set for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Highland Cemetery with Rev. Don Shovan officiating. Burial is under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include her 2 daughters, Sharon Youngmark of Clarksville and Kelly Haagood of Bogata; 3 grandchildren, Amanda Youngmark and Wayne Franklin, Jennifer Aker and husband, Drew and Jason Thomas and wife, Kayla; 6 great grandchildren, Payton, Audrey, Rylan, Avery, Alex and Gracie Rose; her special nieces, Pam Ewald and Linda Foreman and her nephew, Curtis Gartman.
