Linda Cole Embrey, of Bogata, passed away, Monday, December 28, 2020, at Wesley House Assisted Living in Gilmer. Mrs. Embrey was born, January 17, 1937, in Fulbright to Ben and Essie Baker Cole. Her husband, Bob Embrey; son, Stacey Embrey; sister, Jeanette Crabb; and a brother, Kenneth Cole preceded her in death. She was a kind, loving wife, mother and grandmother and a caring friend to all. She set a wonderful example for her family as a servant of God. Linda was always there with a kind word, reassuring smile, plate of food or helping hand. Mrs. Embrey was a hardworking woman and a supportive wife at Bob’s side for every entrepreneurial endeavor they pursued. Linda loved her kids beyond measure and was there for them every step of their lives with encouragement and support. She was a wonderful artist, great cook (not a task she loved but you could tell there was love in every delicious dish) a fastidious businesswoman and gardener. Mrs. Embrey was old school and a real lady who will be missed and never forgotten by those she loved and loved her. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
