Linda Sue Eilers, age 72, of Cuthand, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Focused Care at Clarksville. Today is a happy day, Nannie went to meet Papa in Heaven. She won’t be lonely anymore.
Linda was born February 14, 1951, in Clarksville to Milton and Elvis Gee Wooten. Linda was married to Ross Eilers on January 14, 1972, in Cuthand Texas. Linda was a homemaker, she volunteered for several different organizations. Linda also enjoyed visiting nursing homes, the residents always brightened her day. Once a month Linda and Linda Cruce went to the lady’s night out. She loved all her friends at the Double R Cowboy Church. They all held a special place in her heart. Those who preceded her in death are her parents; her husband, James Eilers and her two brothers, Billy and Philip Wooten.
She was blessed to have a daughter, Cami Murphy and husband, Michael of Bagwell; 2 grandsons, Michael Ross Murphy and wife, Nina of Elk River, Minnesota and Cody Murphy of College Station, “Our grandsons were a true blessing to us. We have had such good times together and so many great memories.” Other survivors include her sister, Sandra Callahan and husband, Allen of Clarksville; her brother, James Wooten and wife, Gail of Hereford and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 12, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Bogata.
Funeral services are set for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at the First Baptist Church of Bogata with Rev. Jeff Duvall officiating. Burial will follow in Cuthand Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers are: Charles Murphy, Monty Murphy, Aaron Callahan, Regan Bell, Ricky Baird and Jerry Hutson. Honorary pallbearers are: Benny Venable, James Lee, Kenneth Sheffield, Benny Mays and the Bogata First Baptist Sunday School Class.
