Linda Jean Buchanan

Linda Jean Buchanan, age 71, passed away December 10, 2025, at Paris Regional Medical Center.

Linda was born June 26, 1954, in Dallas, Texas, to Joseph and Virginia Cloninger Simmons. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Okie Buchanan; her son, Roger Bass; her brother, Joseph Simmons; and her sister, Virginia Mae Goble.

Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 15, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Annona with Rev. Deanie Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in Avery Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include three sons, Tracy Simmons and wife, Tammye of Athens; Leroy Buchanan and wife, Jenny of Paris; and Brian Buchanan and Jacey of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; two sisters, Deborah and Patricia; her brother, John Simmons and wife, Pam of Saranc, Michigan; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
