Lillian Clark Obituary

 

Lillian J. Clark, age 90, of Clarksville passed away, Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Focused  Care Nursing Facility. She blessed her family with 90 years of love and laughter. 

Lillian was a certified caregiver who had a passion for taking care  of others. She loved crocheting blankets for her grand kids, cooking for her family and watching Dancing With The Stars. Lillian was fortunate to be able to live independently  for 88 years long near her children and grandchildren. Her greatest gifts to the world were the love she had for her family and infectious laughter that could fill any room. Lillian was twice married to Payton Clark, the father of her daughters. 

Lillian was born August 22, 1930 in Annona, Texas, to William Alvis and Myrtle Eunice Thompson Bumgarner. Preceding her in death are her parents; 2 sisters, Willie Louise Pope and Eunice Marie Freeman as well as two brothers, William Alvis “Dub” Bumgarner and James “Bo” Bumgarner.

The family will receive friends Friday, February 12, 2021, one hour before service time.

Funeral services are set for 11:00 AM Friday, February 12, 2021, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Karl Bush officiating. Burial will follow in Annona cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers are: James Mining, Rhett Jackson, Dillon Roseberry, Parker Mauldin, Lee Cross and B.J. Bumgarner. 

Survivors include her 3 daughters, Lynda Lou Goff of Blossom, Clarissa Bourne of Carrollton and Angela Roseberry and husband, Richard of Clarksville; 1 brother, Bobby Charles Bumgarner and wife, Michaella of Powderly; 6 grandchildren, Raechel Jackson and husband, Jay, Deanna Wood and husband, Cory, James Mining and wife, Katie, Michael Mining and wife, Sandy, Maegan Cross and husband, Lee, and Dillon Roseberry; 8 great grandchildren, Reed, Gabby, Rhett, Grier, Emily, Jacob, Payton Jack, and Parker; 7 nephews, Mark, B.J.,  Rusty, Bruce, Mack, Billy and Mike; 5 nieces, Beverly, Barri Lynn, Robin Nicole, Janie, and Sherry and 1 great nephew, Elliot Stevenson.

Mrs. Clark's funeral service will be live streamed to Clarksville Funeral Home Facebook page starting at 11:00a.m.
