Lesia Ann Perkins, age 62, of Bagwell passed away on April 20, 2025, at Focused Care in Clarksville.
Lesia was born April 26, 1962, in Clarksville to Joan and Thomas Perkins of Bagwell.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Perkins and brother, John Mark Perkins.
Survivors include her mother, Joan Young Perkins of Bagwell; two god-daughters, Dee Barnett of Clarksville and Katie Barnett of Clarksville; cousin, Kenny (Jennifer) Carpenter, Sydnie Dooley, Sarah Greer, Keith (Donna) Carpenter, Chris Carpenter, John Carpenter, Jordan Carpenter; and her loving dog, Marty.
She attended Clarksville ISD and was a faithful member of the Bagwell Church of Christ.
She worked for 10 years at Red Cap. After it was shut down, she found her true calling in healthcare where she worked for the last 25 years. When she wasn’t working, she loved going to town where her and her mom would go “junking” and to Wal-Mart, which was the highlight of the week.
Lesia, known for her kindness and empathy toward others and the excellent care she demonstrated to her patients, is an example of “service above self” always going above and beyond.
The family will receive friends an hour before service.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM, on April 22, 2025, at Church of Christ Bagwell, with Steve Marx officiating. Burial to follow at Bluff Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Danny Miller, Mark Miller, Dicky Ewing, Jason Dotson, Jason Meredith, and Blaine Peek.
Honorary Pallbearers are Kenny Carpenter, Keith Carpenter, John Carpenter, Jordan Carpenter, and Chris Carpenter.
