Lena Ann White, age 78, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024, at her residence.
Lena was born April 23, 1945, in Bagwell to Henry and Rosiebell Castleman Hawley. Lena retired from The Campbell Soup Company in 2000 and raised dogs for the next 20 years. She loved her kids and grandkids very much and will be missed. A special request from Lena herself, wear your beautiful reds, purples and pinks celebrating my going to my heavenly home. Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband, Henry White and her son, Blane Edward White.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Clarksville Funeral Home.
Graveside services are set for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at White Ranch Cemetery with Pastor Stanley Johnson and Pastor Mark Williams officiating. Burial is under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Survivors include her son, Duane Allan White and wife, Kristin of Clarksville; and 6 grandchildren, Ashley Varner and husband, Ted of Honey Grove, Kaimbri White of Oklahoma City, Jordan White of McKinney, Maelee White of Oklahoma City, Dylan White and Devin White and wife, Kaitlyn of Blossom; 7 great grandchildren, Conleigh Varner, Leighton Varner, Keaton Varner, Poppy Clay, Livvy White, Addison White and Grayson White; sister, Margaret Edwards of Lewisville, Arkansas; special daughter-in-law, Teresa White and husband, Keth Anthony and a special granddaughter, Chasity Coleman and husband, Stacy and their children, Nevaeh and Keegan; nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Ted Varner, Jordan White, Dylan White, Devin White, Keegan Coleman and Keith Anthony. Honorary pallbearers are the Campbell Soup Retiree Ladies.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Haven Missionary Baptist Church, Bagwell Community Center or Blanton Creek Cemetery Association.
