Kristi Barnett Canant

Kristi Lee Barnett Canant, age 58, of Idabel, Oklahoma, formerly of Clarksville, passed away, Friday, May 13, 2022, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma after battling an illness with cancer. She was born August 20, 1963 in Clarksville to Morris (Jack) and Bess Barnett. Kristi was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Stormy, her father; and her brother, Wayne Barnett. She was a 1981 graduate of Clarksville High School. Kristi was a former hair stylist and instruction in Idabel, Oklahoma for several years. She loved being on the lake with her husband, kids and friends. Kristi loved life and never met a stranger and would always talk if they would listen. That is what made her who she was. Being the baby of the family she was always loved by all of her family. If you remember one thing about Kristi, remember she lived her own life the way she wanted it and that was to the fullest. Her greatest accomplishment was her son, Christopher, whom she loved more than anything on this earth.

Survivors include her husband, Charles (Chuck) Canant of Idabel, Oklahoma; her son, Christopher Canant and wife, Shalyn of McCloud, Oklahoma; her step daugther, Dusty Canant of Hugo, Oklahoma; her step son, Ryan Canant of Idabel, Oklahoma; her mother, Bess Barnett Farland and husband, Lyle of Clarksville; sisters, Jerry Rust and husband, Gerald of Avery and Terry Smith of Clarksville; her brother, David Barnett and wife, Debbie of Clarksville and several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Memorial services are set for 12:00 noon, Friday, May 27, 2022, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home.
