Kenneth Charles McElyea, age 18, of Avery, passed away, Thursday, December 16, 2021, near Clarksville.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 19, 2021, at the Gene Weaver Gymnasium at Avery High School. Burial will follow in Hillside View Cemetery in Boxelder under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Sammy Stringer, Lane Stringer, John Wayne King, Kyle Baird, Vince Ussery, Carlton Alley, Kagan McGuire and Cruz Martinez.

Honorary Pallbearers are the members and coaches of the Avery Bulldogs Mens Athletics and the Avery High School Class of 2021.

There will be no formal visitation. Kenneth’s body will lie in state Saturday at Clarksville Funeral Home.

In his rubber boots and old felt hat, walking tall through the living room singing a Hank Jr tune, “Boo” never missed a lick! His ear-to-ear smile warmed the coldest heart and made life just a little better for all of us lucky enough to know him! This world will never be the same. He gave us all beautiful memories...take a part of him with you. Live big, laugh often, and love large! God loved us enough that he gave us "Boo". Until we meet again son…
