Kason Rein Tubb

Our precious child, Kason Rein Tubb, beloved son of Kimberly Tubb of Bogata, Texas and Brian Tubb of Dike, Texas, born on May the 9th of 2014, left this earth to be with the angels in the late hours of the evening on Thursday, August 12 th of 2022 at the age of 8 years and 3 months old.

Although Kason was born with a rare terminal and non curable form of dwarfism known as Rhizomelic Chondrodysplasia Punctata Type 1, which caused him to be nonverbal, he had his little ways of playing little pranks on his caregivers. His little giggle was rare but oh so contagious. It’s no secret how much he loved his cuddles.

Left to morn his loss are his parents Kimberly Tubb and Brian Tubb. One sister, Brooklyn Young and one brother Korbin Tubb, both of Bogata, Texas. Paternal grandparents Danny and Renea Tubb of Dike, Texas. Maternal grandparents Curtis and June Young of Bogata, Texas. Uncle Dwayne Young of Bogata, Tx. Paternal Aunts and uncles, Laura and Chad Jones of Dike, Texas, and Sharee and Shawn Whitson of Scottsdale, Arizona. As well as numerous cousins. Honorary Grandmother Alice Walker of Paris, Texas and special nurse and friend Katie Koehn-Salsbury of Paris, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents Jess and Opal English. Aunt Carol and Uncle John English. Great grandfather John Durwood Tubb, uncle Freddy Tubb, great uncle Alton Tubb, and his special Rhizo brother Lucas Toland of Mayer, Minnesota.

Throughout his short life, Kason touched the lives of many Doctors and Nurses that were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to care for him. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of them. A special thanks to Dr. Tod Conner, Kason’s PCP, for all the late evening/ night calls and messages.

Visitation is scheduled from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. Monday, August 15, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Bogata, Texas.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00a.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Bogata with Rev. Jeff Duvall officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. A benefit account is set up at Guaranty Bond bank in Bogata, Texas, under Kason Rein Tubb benefit fund.
