Karen Gordon

Karen Kay Storey Gordon, age 72, went to be with her savior April 7, 2023. She was born March 15, 1951 in Clarksville to Joe Jr. and Christine Clark Storey.  She attended South Garland High School  and graduated from University of Texas Dallas.

She retired from the City of Garland.  Friends describe her as candid, enthusiastic, excitable and generous. Known by Aunt Karen or KK she was so loved by not only her family but by a multitude of life long friends. God gifted her with a beautiful voice and she loved to share that gift.

Eric Jason Crain, her only child, preceded her in death along with her parents and grandparents ; Jess and Bonnie Clark , Joe  and Bennie Storey.

She is survived by her husband Mack Gordon, his daughters Deanna Smith and Angie Gordon. Her sister Janie  and husband John Cearley of Liberty Hill.  Nephews; Nathan Cearley and wife Jill, John Cearley Jr. and wife Shelly. Niece, Christi and husband, Avery Bruce. Great nieces and nephews; Jeffery and JulieFeldmann, Jacob, Tanner, Carson and Kinley Cearley. She cherished the little ones, her great great nieces and nephews; Brooks, Caydence, Jennings and Navy Kay Feldmann.

She so enjoyed being a part of her cousins group known as the Storey girls, the neighborhood gang and her friend group known as the “Tater” girls.

Visitation is set for 1:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service following at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2023 in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with EJ Young officiating. Burial will follow at English Cemetery. Pallbearers are Don Gordon, Nathan  Cearley, John  Cearley Jr. Avery Bruce,  Scott Cummings and Keith Storey. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Jerusalem Church of God, Garland 75043
