Karen Elaine Carey

Karen Elaine Carey, age 62, of Paris passed away Monday, April 5, 2021, at Brentwood Terrace Nursing Home.

Karen was born November 27, 1958, in Clarksville to Kenneth E. and Ella Storey Sheppard. Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband, James Carey and her brother, Kenneth Sheppard, Jr.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 7, 2021 one hour before service time.

Funeral services are set for 1:00p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2021, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Gossett officiating. Burial will follow in Tuggle Springs Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include her sister, Patsy Sheppard Dial of Clarksville; her brother, Harrold Sheppard of Clarksville; 2 nieces, Laura Dial Risinger and husband, Mike of Paris and Rebecca Sheppard of Weatherford, Oklahoma; 2 nephews, Benjamin Sheppard of Clarksville and Matthew Sheppard and wife, Elizabeth of McKinney; 6 great nephews, Ronan, Garrett, Todd, Brayden, Damien and Andy and 4 great nieces, Bonnie, Rachel, Emily and Jackie.
