Juanita Holloway Obituary

Juanita Smith Holloway, 87, of Avery, passed away July 8, 2022 at Focus Care Nursing Home in Clarksville. She was born to William E. & Dora Anderson Smith on December 17, 1934. Juanita was of Baptist faith. Her and husband, Cody were married on May 26, 1950. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband Cody McLawrence Holloway along with two sons; Byron Holloway and Roger Dale Holloway, a daughter in law; Vickie Holloway, brother; Rev Bill Smith, sisters; Ruby Perkins, Eubie Clounch, Lorene Smith, special nephew; James Clounch, a granddaughter; Misty Holloway, and two great grandchildren; Byron Wayne Lance & Erica Jeanette Lance.

Juanita is survived by sons, Ronald Lawrence "Doc" Holloway & wife Deborah and Kenneth Mack Holloway & wife Shelly; grandchildren Shannan Soto, Bobby Holloway, Aubrey Holloway, Allan Holloway, Mike Holloway, Pam McFadden, Sandy Carter, Justin Holloway, Michelle Holloway, Luis Holloway, Latasha Holloway, Adolfo Holloway, Lisa Clark & Julia Montgomery. Sister; Dorothy McClure & a daughter-in-law, Margie Holloway, 22 great grand children & 18 great great grandchildren, numerous other family & friends.

Pallbearers are Keith Clark, Jeremy Lance, Justin Holloway, Brian Jackson, Mike Holloway, and Cody Holloway.

Special thank you to the Focus Care Nursing Facility in Clarksville and Chambers Hospice in Texarkana for the extra special care they showed Juanita.

Funeral service will be Monday, July 11th, 2022 at 1 PM at the Clarksville Funeral Home with Bro. Deanie Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at the Avery Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12-1 at the funeral home.
