Johnny Mack Pate, Sr., age 66, of Ore City, passed away, Monday, December 28, 2020, at Longview Regional Medical Center. Mr. Pate was born, December 12, 1954, in Ft.Worth, the son of Mack and Dorothy Lee Faver Pate. He was a member of Windsor Park Baptist Church and former owner of Pate’s Pest Control. His parents; biological mother, Lucille Shankles; and 3 grandchildren, Aiden, Anna and Kenneth preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Lena Marie Bishop Pate of Ore City. They were married on December 20, 1974 in Detroit, Michigan; 1 son, Johnny Pate, Jr. and wife, Katie of Avery; 1 daughter, Jennifer Terry of Leesburg, Virginia; 2 half brothers, Bruce Parris and wife, Pam of Ooltewah, Tennessee and John Parris and wife, Suzanne of Ringgold, Georgia; and 4 grandchildren, Aimee Pate, Cody Pate, Keaton Terry and Kimberly Terry.
Graveside services are set for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Avery Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
