Johnny McDowell

Johnny, 62 of Watauga, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020, in Cisco Texas.  He was born August 13, 1958 in Clarksville Texas, the son of Carroll and Francis McDowell.

Johnny was the owner of McDowell and Son Construction and Roofing.  He was a proud 15-year member of the BFMC and was known to his boozefighter brothers as Little John.

Johnny was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents Roy and Oma McDowell and Maternal Grandparents  Lola Bell and William Hardman Joyner, his parents Carroll and Francis, his sister Lola McDowell, and two children Johnny Ray Jr. and Jennifer Marie.

Survivors include his wife Gabriella, son Roy and Daughter Emily all of Watauga. His son Marshall McDowell of Gale Bakken, and daughter Danielle McDowell of Gale Bakken, brothers David and wife Suzie of Arkansas, and Billy and wife Rhonda of Sachse.  His uncles Billy McDowell of Sachse, and Bobby and wife Jeanette of Quitman and his many brothers of the BFMC

The family will receive friends Monday, November 23, 2020, at Clarksville Funeral Home from 9:30 to 10:30a.m.

Graveside services are set for 11:00a.m. Monday, November 23, 2020, at Fairview cemetery.  Burial is under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
