Johnny Chiles Johnson

Johnny Chiles Johnson, age 71, of Clarksville, passed away, Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at his residence.  Johnny was born January 7, 1949 in Clarksville to Bert and Maudie Mae Chiles Johnson.  He was a mechanic and served in the U.S. Army.  Johnny enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles. He was a loyal friend, a caring brother, and loving father. At times he was a man of few words, but always seemed to have a joke or story to share. He will be missed by all who loved him.  Preceding him in death are his parents; sister, Diane Backus; and the mother of his daughter, Teri Johnson Hopkins.

Survivors include 1 daughter, Jennifer McElroy of Eugene, Oregon; 1 sister, Kaye Boulware of Apollo Beach, Florida; 1 brother, Donald Johnson of Ft. Worth; 1 nephew, Ralph Nicks of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; 2 nieces, Linda Olivares of Oceanside, California and Lois Pursell of California.

Graveside memorial services are set for 1:00p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2020, at Aikin Grove Cemetery with Jim Clark officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
