John Earl Hawley

John Earl Hawley, age 84, of Bagwell, passed away, Sunday, June 20, 2021.  John Earl was well known and well liked in the community.  He had his own logging business and also ran cattle on his ranch north of Bagwell.  John Earl was born in the Blanton Creek Community of Red River County to Henry and Rosie Bell Castleman Hawley.  His sisters; Lois Gohmert, Molly Ford and Christine Anderson and brothers, Bo Hawley, Jimmy Hawley and Grady Hawley all preceded him in death. 

Funeral services are set for 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 24, 2021, under the Pavilion at Blanton Creek Cemetery with Rev. Karl Bush officiating.  Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are, Matt Raulston, Mark Wiley, Carlton Alley, Adam Johnson, Chad Johnson and Cody Johnson.

Honorary Pallbearers are, Jeremy Shields, John G. Hawley, Jimmy M. Hawley, Johnny Hawley, Ernie Hawley, Mark Edwards, Mike Ford, Duane White, Parker Wiley, Preston Shields, Colton Shields, Coben Stewart and Wade Johnson.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Smith Hawley of Bagwell; son, Hubert Hawley and wife, Paula Ann of Bagwell; daughters, Deborah Patterson of Mt. Pleasant and Lois Raulston; sisters, Margaret Edwards of Lewisville, Arkansas and Lena White of Clarksville, 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
