Jimmy Peek

In loving memory of James (Jimmy) Peek, age 81, of Annona, Texas who passed away peacefully in his home on September 29, 2023, we honor his extraordinary life. Jimmy was born on August 15, 1942 in Dallas, Texas to H.L. Peek and Teenie Keeton Peek. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Sarah Nell Peek and his children: Clayton Peek and wife Lisa Peek and Darrell Peek and wife Hope Peek. Additionally he is survived by his cherished grandchildren: Lauren Peek Travillion and husband Dustin Travillion, Ashton Peek and Johnathon Thompson, Rory Peek, Alex Peek, Kyler Peek, Jase Peek, Aiden Peek, Jeff Harvey and wife Holly Harvey. Great grandchildren include: Breanna Harvey, Leland Harvey, Olivia Travillion, Rylie Travillion, Briley and Kaden Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jimmy was a graduate of East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas. He then joined his father and grandfather in ownership of Annona Manufacturing Company which was a family owned screen door factory established in 1950. Jimmy was an avid fisherman, hunter, athlete, adventurist, and successful business owner.

Jimmy enjoyed his time being an active adventurist which included the building of three airplanes, gunsmith, scuba diving, spear fishing, big game hunting, bow hunting, quail hunting and championship quail dog training, photography, traveling and deep sea fishing. If it included adventure, it intrigued Jimmy. Jimmy enjoyed sharing these hunting and fishing adventures with his two sons and grandchildren as well. He traveled the world and created some of his best memories with his beloved wife Sarah Nell.

A memorial visitation service to celebrate his life will be held at Clarksville Funeral Home at 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, October 1, 2023 in Clarksville, Texas.

Jimmy's legacy will forever live in the hearts of his family and friends.
