Jimmy Glenn Marshall, age 70, of Allen, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, May 2, 2024.
Jimmy was born November 17, 1953, in Clarksville to George Henry and Jewell Dean Peavehouse Marshall. Jimmy was a welder by trade. He was employed at General Handling and Stewart Systems in Plano. Jimmy was a avid fisherman, he loved to fish for crappie with his fishing buddy Ed Walker. Preceding him in death are his parents; his brother, George H. Marshall, Jr. and his niece, Amanda Beth Gillit.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Sharon Kay Jeans Marshall of Allen; his twin brother, Jerry Lynn Marshall (Dave) of Willington, North Carolina; his sister, Diane Gillit and husband, Gary of Lubbock; nieces and nephews, Cary Gillit of Sarasota, Florida, Adrianne Bush of Levelland and Tonya Marshall Roberts of Bogata.
The family will receive friends one hour before service time.
Funeral services are set for 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 7, 2024, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Don Shovan officiating. Burial is under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
