Jimmy Dean Lee, age 82, of Clarksville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at his residence. Jimmy was born in Red River County on November 28, 1937, to Lennie B. Lee. He was known to his truck driving friends as “Stagger Lee”. Jimmy Dean served in the U.S. Army and was a kind hearted person that will be missed by all. His mother; brothers, Jasper (Johnny) Lee and Robert Lee; and sisters, Estelle Cooper and Thelma Lee preceded him in death. He married Joyce Mitchell on June 24, 1969.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Lee of Clarksville; sons, Jim Lee and wife, Lorraine of Cedar Park, Ricky Roberts and wife, Leigh of Clarksville and Johnny Lee and wife, Robyn of Bogata; daughters, Lorretta Lee of Cedar Park, Lorrie Bratton and husband, Raymond of Sterling City, Linda Jarrett and husband, Ronnie of Clarksville and Lana Davis and husband, John of Bogata, 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 10, 2020, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Pastor D.J. Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Albion Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Covid-19 restrictions apply.
Pallbearers are Justin Franks, Colter Franks, Justin Lee, Jason Jarrett, Atlee Roberts, Gage Stokes and Wes Reeder.
The family will receive friends an hour before service time at Clarksville Funeral Home.
