Jesse Earl Lance Sr., 72, of Avery Texas peacefully passed away on May 3rd 2021, at home surrounded by loved ones.

Jesse was born on November 16th 1948 to Ed Edward Lance and Loucindia Jannett “Janie” Lance in the bustling city of Dallas Texas.

Jessie met the love of his life, Minnie Alice Webster and they married in 1967. Jessie and  Minnie went on to have 3 children; Jessie Earl Jr. “Bo”, Toni, and Sherry.

Jesse worked for a number of years as a truck driver before retiring. Besides spending time with his family, Jesse had a passion for playing music, singing, riding his motorcycle and hunting. He touched many lives with his voice and love for entertaining. He spent many Saturday nights at the Lazy “E” Country Music Coral on stage doing exactly what he loved.

Jesse was predeceased by his wife Minnie Alice Lance; son, Jessie Earl Lance Jr. “Bo”; daughter, Toni Lance; brothers Ronnie Ray Lance and Frank Lance.

Graveside services are set for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Garland Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

He is survived by his brother Bobby Lance; daughter, Sherry Garrison and husband Paul; 5 grandsons, Stoney Lance  and girlfriend Jessica Isbell; Joshua Crouch and girlfriend Stephanie Smith; Dakota Crouch and his girlfriend Ashley Moreland; Dillon Crouch and fiancée’ Taylor Robertson; James Lively and girlfriend Nancy Hall. 3 granddaughters, Cierra Moore and husband Steven; LaTonya Rafferty and husband Shawn; and Jaycee Lance.  13 great grandchildren, Cameron Bo Crouch, Layla Jane Crouch, Brooklyn Lively, Blaize Leland Lively, Serenity Leona Lively, Jessie Mae Noel Lance, Gracie Ann Lance, Kyle Wayne Lance, Ella Rene Lance, Autumn Rayne Moore, Jessa Ky’Lei Moore, Ezekiel Noah Lane Moore, Shayleigh Denise Rafferty, Bow Lee Anna Unique Rafferty; Sister in law, Shanon Soto; nieces, Tiffany Soto and Katlin Lance; nephew, Jeremy Lance; great nephews, Jackson Lance and Kyler Widemon.
