Jerry Robinson, age 91, of Avery, passed away, Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Clarksville Nursing Center. Jerry was born July 20, 1932, in Texarkana to Eddie and Cleoda McMillian Robinson. He served in the U.S. Army during Korea and was a member of the Avery Missionary Baptist Church. Jerry was an entrepreneur and owner of Chicken Hawk Inc. He enjoyed Ranching and watching Rodeo’s. Jerry lived an adventurist life and will be laid to rest in his handmade casket he built. His wife, Linda; and two brothers, Eddie and Kelly Robinson preceded him in death.
Graveside services are set for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at the Robinson Ranch in Avery with James Posey officiating. Services are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Gage Berry, Wesley Minter, Eddy Castaneda, Chris Perry, John Floyd and Nick Baird.
Honorary Pallbearers are Duel Grigg, Will Berry, Henry Freeman and Charlie Graham.
Survivors include two sons, Ace Robinson of Avery and Jerry Don Robinson and wife, Cathy of Godly; daughter, Robyn Hines and husband, Charlie of Avery; grandchildren, Gage Berry, Brittney Bates, Amanda Pirkey, Chad Robinson and Corey Robinson; great grandchildren are Vance, Margo, Channing, Hayley and Tyler; and a special nephew, Tim Robinson.
