Janet Shuler Beaty of Boxelder, was born September 18, 1951, in Fayetteville, North Carolina to Polly Wicker and Guy Shuler, Jr. She was an LVN, having worked at Red River General Hospital and both nursing homes in Clarksville, ending her nursing career at Telford Prison Clinical Unit. She had numerous dogs and cats throughout her life, many being rescues. She considered them her children. She loved to work in the yard, planting and working diligently to have beautiful flowers for all to enjoy. She lost her loving husband, William Amos Beaty several years back.
She is survived by her son, Robert Hight Smith and wife Staci, four grandchildren, Shuler, Andy and Abby Smith and Joshua Sweet, his wife and three great grandchildren. Her sister, Luanne Shuler York, and nephew Justin Guy York. She also claims her dear friend Derrick Byers, his wife Tarsha, and two children as family. She also left behind many loving friends from Focused Care at Clarksville where she’s been a resident for the last two + years. She’ll meet her parents, her brother, Guy Shuler,III, her loving nephew Timothy James T.J. York on this journey home. She was a wonderful, loving Sister, and will be missed dearly.
