Jane Ann Bratton

Jane Ann Bratton, age 87, of the Boxelder Community, passed away, Friday, March 4, 2022. Mrs. Bratton was born, September 28, 1934, in the Boxelder Community to Dick and Bondie Young Peek. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Floyd Bratton, her parents; and her brother Billy Joe Peek. Jane worked and lived in Colleyville until she and Billy retired and returned to the Boxelder Community. She was a great cook and fed her family and friends well. Jane is remembered by many for her homemade fruitcakes at Christmas.

Mrs. Bratton is survived by her daughter, Betty Jo Bickley and husband, Gene of the Boxelder Community; son, Billy Wayne Bratton and wife, Connie of Colleyville; grandchildren, Becky Bates and husband, Dennis of Rising Star, Jennifer Munguia of Kosse; great grandchildren, Reece and Ryker Bates, Sierra, James, Marya and Piper Munguia.

Funeral services are set for 3:00 PM, Friday, March 11, 2022, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Don Shovan officiating. Burial will follow in Gilliam Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends Thursday night from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Clarksville Funeral Home.
